Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra Announce Second Pregnancy; Share Adorable Post With Daughter Saraayah

Bollywood actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have announced that they are expecting their second child. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram, with their daughter Saraayah also becoming part of the special announcement.

“Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude,” Kiara wrote alongside the post.

The accompanying picture featured Kiara, Sidharth and Saraayah holding a fresh pair of knitted baby booties. The announcement bears a striking resemblance to the way the couple announced Kiara’s first pregnancy with Saraayah last year.

Kiara Advani Embraced Motherhood Last Year

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra welcomed their daughter Saraayah in November last year. Kiara soon returned to work and starred alongside Yash in Toxic this year.

Speaking about the impact of motherhood on her during an appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Kiara said she feels like a “completely different person” compared with her life before becoming a mother.

In another conversation about her return to work, the actor said motherhood had made her “more of a tigress.”

Huma Qureshi Praises Kiara’s Dedication During Toxic

Kiara’s dedication to work while pregnant also drew praise from her Toxic co-star Huma Qureshi.

At a recent press event, Huma recalled filming a rain sequence with Kiara while the actor was six months pregnant.

“I have to say something about Kiara. It is not a spoiler. There was a scene in Toxic we were both part of, and there was so much rain involved,” Huma said.

Recalling the demanding shoot, Huma said she had a terrible headache but refrained from complaining after seeing Kiara continue with the scene despite being six months pregnant.

“She was just standing there doing that scene. Standing like a rock. Looking at her I was like, ‘Oh my god,’ that is so inspiring,” Huma said, adding that she expected Kiara to receive a lot of love for the film.

Kiara And Sidharth’s Love Story

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra met on the sets of their 2021 film Shershaah. The war drama featured Sidharth as Param Vir Chakra recipient Captain Vikram Batra, while Kiara played his girlfriend, Dimple Cheema.

The film, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video, received widespread critical appreciation. The two actors reportedly began dating while working on the film.

Rumours about their relationship had circulated since 2020, although neither actor publicly addressed them at the time. In 2022, filmmaker Karan Johar appeared to confirm their relationship when he referred to Kiara as Sidharth’s girlfriend during his appearance on Koffee With Karan.

The couple tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Their wedding attracted significant attention, with photographs from the ceremony becoming one of the most-liked Instagram posts in India for a period.
