The operation was carried out by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Shopian in coordination with the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Confirming the development, Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a post on X that one Lashkar terrorist had been “neutralised” in the joint operation conducted by the SOG, Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF.
The police also issued a warning to militants operating in the region, stating: “You can run, but you can’t hide!”
