New Envoys from Maldives, Andorra, Ghana, and Monaco Present Credentials

Four newly appointed ambassadors formally presented their letters of credence to His Majesty The King Carl XVI Gustaf on 16 April 2026, marking the official commencement of their diplomatic missions.

The envoys include H.E. Aishath Shaan Shakir of the Maldives, who will operate with residence in Berlin; H.E. Olga Gelabert Fàbrega of Andorra, resident in Andorra; H.E. Dr. Margaret Miewien Chebere of Ghana, based in Copenhagen; and H.E. Stéphanie Mourou Vikström of Monaco, resident in Monaco.

The presentation of credentials is a significant diplomatic protocol, symbolizing the recognition of ambassadors as the official representatives of their respective nations. With this ceremony, the ambassadors are now formally accredited to engage in strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation, and fostering mutual interests between their countries and the host nation.
