Sensex rises 300 pts, Nifty near 24,100; HCLTech, Infosys, TCS top gainers
The Nifty50 and the Sensex rose, tracking gains in IT stocks and as oil prices declined after the US and Iran concluded talks in Doha.
As of 10:30 AM, the Nifty50 was up 0.43 per cent or 103.60 points at 24,109.45, and the Sensex gained 352.08 points or 0.46 per cent to trade at 77,274.72.
Infosys, HCLTech, and Adani Enterprises were the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap were trading 0.52 per cent and 0.69 per cent higher, respectively.
Sector-wise, the Nifty IT rose nearly 4 per cent to lead gains. The Nifty Realty and the Nifty Consumer Durables also outperformed. Meanwhile, the Nifty PSU Bank declined the most.

Knack Packaging’s initial public offer will enter the second day of subscription. The company aims to raise ₹439.5 crore from the primary market.
Five SME IPO will enter the final day of subscription on Thursday. These are Kratikal Tech, Vinit Mobile, Sampark India Logistics, Seemax Resources, Atharva Polyplast, and Teja Engineering Industries.
