Trump claims Iran military leaders killed in Tehran strike
US President Donald Trump on Saturday claimed that several senior Iranian military leaders were killed in a major strike on Tehran, the capital of Iran.
“Many of Iran’s military leaders, who have led them poorly and unwisely, are terminated, along with much else, with this massive strike in Tehran!” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
The post featured a video showing large explosions illuminating a city skyline at night, though it did not clarify when the strike occurred or provide further details about the operation.
The conflict, which began over a month ago with coordinated US-Israeli strikes on Iran, has since escalated sharply. Iran’s retaliation has widened the confrontation across the Middle East, fuelling instability and sending shockwaves through the global economy.
