Sensex off highs, Nifty around 24,050; Nifty Auto index falls 1%

The Nifty50 and the Sensex rose as pharma and healthcare stocks supported.

As of 10:00 AM, the Nifty50 was up 0.1 per cent or 24.6 points at 24,073.60, and the Sensex fell 0.02 per cent 16.72 points to 77,083.75.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Shriram Finance, and Eternal were the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap were trading 0.08 per cent and 0.28 per cent down, respectively.

The Nifty Pharma and the Nifty Healthcare outperformed among the sectoral indices, while the Nifty IT declined the most.

IPO Today

Aastha Spintex initial public offer opened for subscription on Monday. The company is seeking to raise ₹170 crore.

Adon Agro Commodities and Twinkle Papers IPOs also opened for subscription on Monday. Both are book-built issues worth ₹44.03 crore and ₹27.52 crore, respectively.

Crazy Snacks IPO entered its second day of subscription. It’s a book-build issue worth ₹31.47 crore, which entails both fresh issue and offer for sale.

CSM Technologies and Sri Priyanka Geo Commex IPOs entered their final day. Both companies are aiming to raise ₹145.78 crore and ₹94.51 crore, respectively.
