At least four Palestinians, including a teenage girl and a member of Hamas’s internal security service, were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Tuesday, according to Gaza health and security officials.

Nasser Hospital said three people were brought in dead, while several others were wounded after an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Separately, Hamas’s Interior Ministry confirmed that Mohammed Shalouf, a member of its internal security service, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis.

The Israeli military told AFP that it had targeted military operatives in the area but provided no further details.

In another attack, an Israeli drone struck a tent in a park in Gaza City, killing a 17-year-old girl, according to Gaza Civil Defence spokesman Mahmoud Bassal. Al-Shifa Hospital identified the victim as Rimas Al-Madhoun and said she was dead on arrival.

The latest attacks come despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025 under a US-brokered initiative. Israel has continued military operations in Gaza and advanced further into the territory since the agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue strikes against Hamas and ruled out a withdrawal from Gaza until the group surrenders its weapons.

Hamas led the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which killed 1,221 people, according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli figures. The attackers also took approximately 251 hostages to Gaza, including 44 who were already dead.

Israel launched a massive military offensive in response, leaving much of Gaza devastated. More than 74,600 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which operates under Hamas authority. The United Nations considers its casualty figures generally reliable.

According to the ministry, nearly 1,600 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire was announced last year. Over the same period, the Israeli military has reported the deaths of seven soldiers and one civilian contractor.
